The Academy in Advanced Legal Research & Method
Each year in late November/early December, the LPGCIL, with TALS, the Transnational Association of Legal Scholars, convene a virtual academy in advanced research and methods in Law. Up to 16 participants are selected to participate in an intensive online workshop for 5 days, on advanced research methods, craft and skills. Each candidate also receives individual feedback on a piece of writing. A number of scholarships are available to cover the Academy fees. Each year, one or more women scholars will be further designated ‘Kathleen Fitzpatrick’ Academy Scholars.
